Clinton Hill Renter's Review Launch Party

Join Clinton Hill Community Action as they launch an app designed to empower South Ward residents with transparency in the housing market.

The app is designed to:

  • Empower residents to speak up and speak out against bad actor landlords
  • Provide transparency for renters when seeking safe, affordable housing through ratings and testimonies
  • Rebalance the current imbalances in the rental market by coupling the increase in declining living conditions with data for improvement
  • Act as a sort of “big brother” so landlords know they are being watched and hopefully encourage them to improve their housing conditions
  • Provide some form of immediate action to a problem through letter templates
  • Provide educational materials about housing rights
  • Provide news updates at the local, state, and national levels about housing
