Happy Friday, family! We hope this newsletter edition finds you feeling good despite all this rain. We are excited to celebrate our partnership with Maroon Theatre Project tonight. Eight Newark youth wrote plays inspired by Black feminism, Black girlhood, and growing up in Newark. We are at capacity, but no worries—the play readings will be recorded, and we will share the recording with you all.

We have completed eight weeks of media training with our South Ward, West Ward, and Queer community media fellows. This week, they began their final module, videography/content creation. We can't wait to share their projects with you. Be on the lookout for event registration links for our community showcases.
